It's finally here! Disney have launched their free Disney world dining offer for 2019 stays. And thankfully, it doesn't look like it's been restricted compared to last year. We share all the details of the offer here and compare all the main travel agent's offers.
Free Disney Dining 2019 Overview
A 5 night minimum stay is required to get free dining for your entire stay, for each guest in your party. The offer varies depending on which Disney World resort you are staying at. Book your holiday between April 19 2018 and November 6 2018 for stays between January 1 2019 and 30 November 2019 (excluding April 8 2019 to April 26 2019) to get free dining. Depending on what class of resort you stay at, the offer generally includes:
Free dining plan (explained in detail below) Up to a $300 free giftcard* 14 day for the price of 7 ticket Free Memory Maker With Ultimate Ticket
The Free Dining Plan
The dining plan offer is the same across all agents. We have given a full agent comparison at the end of the article.
Value Resort Stays
These resorts include Disney's All Star Movies Resort, Disney's All Star Music Resort, Disney's All Star Sports Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art Of Animation Resort (excluding The Little Mermaid rooms).
Free Breakfast (1 quick service meal) for each member of your party for every night you stay.
Moderate Resort Stays
These resorts includes Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort: Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort: French Quarter.
Free Quick Service Dining Plan (2 quick service meal, 2 snacks, mug) for each member of your party for every night you stay.
Deluxe Resort & Deluxe Villa Stays
These resorts includes Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's deluxe villas
Free Dining Plan (1 table service, 1 quick service, 2 snacks, mug) for each member of your party for every night you stay.
No matter what class of resort you stay at, you can pay to upgrade to any Disney dining plan you want. And we recommend always upgrading to the table service dining plan. So for example if you stay in a moderate and get the free quick service plan, you can pay a little extra and get the full table service plan (which you should).
Booking Direct With Disney
Our reader's most popular way is to book direct with Disney. Remember though, if you want to book direct with Disney you can only book flights 11 months out. But, you can book and pay the deposit to secure your room, ticket and free dining (which I recommend) and add flights later to remain ATOL protected.
Free dining plan (explained above depending on resort class) $100 gift card for moderate and deluxe stays 14 day for the price of 7 ticket Free Memory Maker With Ultimate Ticket
Virgin are running a pretty good promotion, and plus about Virgin is they fly several times a day.
Free dining plan (explained above depending on resort class) $200 gift card for all stays 14 day for the price of 7 ticket Free Memory Maker With Ultimate Ticket
A common question is "what combination is the cheapest?", but sadly it's not easy to answer for everyone. Each agent runs different prices at different times for different amounts of people, have different upgrade prices etc. Even though TUI don't offer a gift card, if they fly from an airport closer to you, that would have more value. The list goes on. There are just so many variables to consider that are different for everyone!
However, the free dining offer is the best offer you're going to get, so even if you're not 100% sure, you can make a booking and pay a low deposit to get your free dining booked. A lot of our readers buy their hotel, dining and tickets direct through Disney now (as they only want a £100 deposit for the whole booking, and require full payment 12 weeks before), and then add their flights later closer to the time.
Choose an agent below to some date searches and book now to avoid disappointment! Most only require a small deposit today.
We've compared all the offers by the main travel agents and sorted them below for you in an easy to read table.
