Stop Calling The Planned Theme Park "The UK Disneyland"
For those of you who don't know, a new 535 acre theme park is planned to be built near London, which is due to begin opening in 2024.
News sites are (annoyingly) publishing sentences like "New pictures show stunning plans for the UK version of Disneyland which is set to open in the South East" to try and get as many clicks as possible. Well actually, that article says "UK Disney World" which is even worse.
This theme park has nothing to do with Disney or The Walt Disney Company. I won't be surprised if Disney start filing lawsuits, especially after looking at the concept art (above).
I welcome a new theme park closer to home, which can only increase competition for theme parks in general, however this will generally be more on par with Alton Towers and Thorpe park.
Just stop calling this the 'UK DisneyLand'. It's wrong.
