The day has finally arrived. Are you excited? Well, I'm excited for you. Once you've parked your car, or arrived on a transfer, the first thing you'll want to do when you arrive at the airport is fine your check-in desk.
Check-In
There are usually 3 check-in lines with most airlines. Economy, premium and online. Choose your correct queue and have your passports and travel documents ready. Once your checked in and your luggage is off to the plane, it's time to head through security.
Security
Next you'll head through security. Remember, no undeclared liquids! Be sure to follow instructions from the security offers, you don't want any hiccups this early into your holiday.
Duty Free
Once you're through security, you have the option to do a bit of tax free shopping. If you're a smoker, now is a good time to get some cigs before heading out.
Eat Something
Plane food isn't great, so it's best to at least get some decent food in you before you get on the plane. Airport food is marked up considerably, so keep that in mind.
Wait For Your Gate
Now find yourself a comfy seat and wait until your gate is open. Once it is, head down the gate. Depending on the airport, it could be quite a trek.
Board Your Flight
They'll check your passports one more time, and then you'll be sat down in your allocated seat.
