Disney Hotel Split Stay Reservations Have Individual Dining Booking Windows

You can book your Walt Disney World restaurants 60 days in advance (and for most restaurants, this is a must) and if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel you can book the next 10 days as well. Officially, Disney says "Guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay". From a British perspective, the length of the stay is often longer than 10 days and should be 14 days, but that's another topic. This means that 60 days before your check-in date, you can book the restaurants you want for the following 10 days. Then the next day for day 11, then the next day for day 12, and so on. If you're staying off-site, you can only book them one day at a time when each day you're booking for is 60 days prior.
This did get tricky if you booked a split stay. Even with both bookings linked to your My Disney Experience account and using the same 14-day Magic Ticket on all your days, sadly you're now out of luck. Cast members on the Disney dining helpline used to be able to acknowledge the issue and had a way to work around it to book your dining for your entire stray, however, that is no longer the case. When you book a split stay and have two (or more) separate resort hotel reservations, each has its own 60-day advance booking window for dining reservations.
