Since the UK voted to leave the European Union (EU) the freedom of movement across the countries has ended. Before, we could enter France and go to Disneyland Paris whenever we wanted, but now there are a few more restrictions put in place. Luckily, they're just mild inconveniences.
You can travel to any EU country (which France is part of) for any reason for up to 90 days in any 180-day period (source: GOV.UK) without needing to apply for a visa.
You can no longer use the quick EU access lanes, and must now check in with border control. You will once again have your passport stamped upon entry.
You might be asked some additional details. For example, asked to show booking confirmation of where you intend to stay, show you have travel insurance, your return ticket, and to prove you have enough money for your stay.
In regards to your passport, there are 2 requirements:
It must be less than 10 years old on the day you enter (check the 'date of issue')
And valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the 'expiry date')
And finally, you can still enjoy the duty-free prices on goodies before returning to the UK.
