Disney World Express Transportation Service To End
News 15-Aug-2017
Disney announced a new express bus service at the end of the 2016 for quick transfers between parks. It only cost around $19 a day or $29 for a week, and it offered bus services direct to other parks. Disney do normally run bus services between the parks, but the buses don't run that often. So if you wanted to get from one park to another quickly you'd usually have to get a bus to a nearby hotel, and then hop on the next bus out.
This express option would be more regular and take you right inside the park, bypassing security.
It seems either the service wasn't that popular, or can't charge as much as they'd like for it. Personally, a big part of it is I think most people who park hop have their own car, but I also don't think they really advertised this service all that much so people didn't bother even checking it out. Only fans like ourselves would have probably even known about it.
Either way, the service will be discontinued on August 23 2017.
We hadn't even had chance to try it, and was looking forward to trying it out this year.
