The D23 event in Japan announced some updates on the Disney World projects over the next couple of years. We've highlighted some of the best ones below.
The Guardians Of The Galaxy attraction, which will be located in the old Ellen's Energy Adventure building at Epcot will reportedly be on the longest indoor rollercoasters in the world. Due to open in 2021.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which will be located in the old Great Movie Ride building at Hollywood Studios, will be a 2.5D (no glasses needed) attraction that will "defy logic". Due to open in 2019.
The Star Wars hotel will be a completely immersive experience. You'll get the option to dress in the proper attire, as well as enjoying characters roaming around the hotel. It will connect directly to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Lastly, all rooms will have a window that looks into space (probably not going to fun for those who get claustrophobic).
