Disney has announced that Boma, the buffet table-service restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House is reopening on August 20th, 2021. The reopening of this highly regarded restaurant also comes with news that it will reopen buffet style - like it was before. Other buffet restaurants at Walt Disney World have since reopened since closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but they have reopened and changed to a family-style setup. Boma will be the first restaurant to reopen where you once again go up the buffet line to get your food.
It's not clear yet whether you will serve yourself, or cast members will serve the food for you (like at Cabanas on the Magic At Sea cruises), but we will find out in a few days time.
