Day 2 Travel Return Test SCRAPPED Starting February 2022
News - Travel 24-Jan-2022
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has today announced (via the BBC) that England will be scrapping the day 2 return travel test requirement starting February 11th, 2022, for fully vaccinated. For all fully vaccinated arrivals into England starting 4am Friday February 11th travellers will no longer be required to take the day 2 LFT test upon return. The requirement to fill out the passenger locator form up to 48 hours before you return to the UK will remain in place.
The transport secretary says under-18s will continue to be treated as eligible fully vaccinated passengers, meaning they "will not face any tests at the UK border".
Pre-departure tests are still requirement for both the USA (to travel to Walt Disney World) and France (to travel to Disneyland Paris). View our Disney Holiday testing guide for more details.
