Disney Announces The Name Of "The Princess and the Frog" Retheming Of Splash Mountain

Disney announced two years ago that Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom will be re-themed to a new The Princess and the Frog attraction. Today, Disney has announced that attraction will be called Princess and the Frog: Tiana's Bayou Adventure. This new attraction will replace the current Splash Mountain theme with a new story based on Mardi Gras featuring Tiana, with Naveen and Louis. It'll open late 2024, although it's not yet clear when Splash Mountain will close.
