Disney MagicMobile Service Turns Your Phone Into A Magicband-Like Experience
News - WDW 18-Nov-2021
Disney can take away their included MagicBand for resort stays, but it's still a vital part of the attire for me. However, for those who found them uncomfortable (or never really liked them) your phone can now be a replacement for tickets and MagicBands.
A new update was recently pushed to allow you to add your tickets to your mobile "wallet", with new charging capabilities! When your tickets are available for use, login to My Disney Experience and then create your Disney MagicMobile pass (with multiple designs to choose from), and then when you enter the parks, open your mobile wallet (on the iPhone its the same as bringing up your Apple Pay) and hold your device near the scanner.
You can use this service to:
Enter theme parks (with a valid theme park reservation and valid admission)
Connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account
NEW: Charge food and merchandise purchases to the payment card on file at your Disney Resort hotel room during your stay
Enter attractions through the virtual queue or Lightning Lane entrance when it’s your time to arrive*
This service is available to iPhone, Apple Watch, and Android devices that support Google Pay.
