Disney+ Monthly Price To Increase To $10.99 & Introduces Lower Tier With Ads

It was announced earlier in the year that Disney were looking into adding an ad supported tier to their Disney+ offering. Today, that has come to fruition.

The price for Disney+ in the UK has matched the price it is the US since its' debut. For example, the price currently is $7.99/mo or £7.99/mo in the UK. Disney has announced that there will be two tiers of Disney+ going forward. At the old price of $7.99/mo (likely £7.99/mo) will be the lowest tier and will include ads. The ad-free tier will be $10.99/mo (likely £10.99/mo) starting 8th December, 2022. Of course, you can pay for the annual 12 month option before this increase to get another full year at the current price of £79.99.

So starting 8th December 2022 to watch Disney+ you'll have two options:

Tier with ads: £7.99/mo (no annual option)

Tier without ads: £10.99 (£109.99 annual option)
