Disney Quest Demolition Under Way

Disney Quest is finally getting demolished after closing its doors in July this year.

Disney Quest was loved by many when it opened, but sadly the gaming arcade industry is declining overall and companies are just not investing it. It's a shame Disney did not keep Disney Quest up to date with new technology and innovations, as it may have been a success for a lot longer. The catch 22 is that it's hard for Disney to justify investing money (with no apparent sponsor) with attendance falling, but attendance falling because it wasn't being updated.

The area Disney Quest was located will be replaced with an NBA themed attraction. Which will include games, competitions, immersive experiences, retail shops and a restaurant. It is due to open summer 2019.
