Disneyland California Reopening Delayed

Disney has announced it will not be reopening the Disneyland California theme parks on July 17th as originally announced. Disney said California officials were not releasing theme park-specific Covid-19 guidance until after 4 July, which won't give them enough to prepare. A specific reopening date was not given.

Given the time required for us to bring thousands of cast members back to work and restart our business, we have no choice but to delay the reopening of our theme parks and resort hotels until we receive approval from government officials

Walt Disney World theme parks are still due to reopen starting July 11th, and Disneyland Paris will be reopening on July 15th.
