France earlier in December closed their borders to us Brits again citing the omicron coronavirus variant as the main reason. This left many guests with Disney Christmas plans ruined and of course resulted in cancellations en masse. Many guests were also planning to go the Disneyland Paris New Years Eve party. Thankfully, Disney were offering refunds to us Brits who had tickets because we are unable to go. But now, it seems Disney has just decided to cancel the New Years Eve party altogether. Their "Temporary adjustments to our booking and cancellation policy" page has been updated to announce the cancellation.
Given the current situation and the health measures taken for 31 December throughout France, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Disney New Year’s Eve Party.
You can book your Disneyland Paris stay for the 30th anniversary celebrations starting March, 2022. All bookings come with a "zen guarantee" which means you can cancel for a full refund 7 days before departure. If you're planning to go, it's best to book early for the best place, and if plans change, it's easy to amend.
