Disneyland Paris To Require New "Vaccine Pass" Following French Government Announcements

France yesterday (via Express) passed new legislation regarding the country's health pass. The health pass or passe sanitaire (via the TousAntiCovid app) will be renamed to "Vaccine Pass". This pass is required to enter most hospitality and entertainment establishments throughout France, including Disneyland Paris.

The new vaccine pass will require a complete schedule of COVID-19 vaccination (which in most cases is 2 doses). However, starting February 15th, a booster dose will be required to enable the vaccine pass 4 months after your second dose (previously this was 7 months). That means your vaccine pass will be active for 4 months after your second dose of vaccine. At the 4 month mark, you will be required to have your booster for the pass to remain active. Previously, unvaccinated adults could take daily tests to enable the health pass, but that will no longer be an option with the new vaccine pass (we need to be fully vaccinated to enter France anyway so this change will not matter to us).

The vaccine pass will be required for everyone aged 16 and above (previously it was only 18+). This falls mostly in line with the UK as the UK government is now offering 16 and 17 year olds their booster dose.

Children (not fully vaccinated) aged between the ages of 12 and 15 will continue to be required to present the current health pass through daily testing. Children under the age of 12 will remain exempt from the health/vaccine pass requirements.
