Florida COVID-19 Deaths Now Increasing In Line With Increased Cases
COVID-19 deaths are on the increase in the state of Florida following a surge in new cases in the middle of June 2020.
The state of Florida is now one of the hardest-hit states in the US, seeing around 10,000 new cases a day since the start of July. While the Florida Governor has said reopening plans will continue and that the increase in positive cases is due to increased testing, the latest COVID-19 graphs shows those positive cases are now resulting in real deaths.
It can take about a month from showing symptoms until death, which means the spike of new Florida cases in mid-June is now resulting in a spike of deaths - which adds up. The world cannot stay closed forever, and while Disney has made its parks as safe as possible with regular cleaning and social distancing measures, we all need to do our part to get on with life in a safe way until we're past this pandemic.
