Getting Around The 2019 Excluded Free Dining Dates
News 30-Apr-2018
The free Disney dining plan is here once again, and here are the dates it's available for 2019:
"Book your holiday between April 19 2018 and November 6 2018 for stays between January 1 2019 and 30 November 2019 (excluding April 8 2019 to April 26 2019) to get free dining."
That means that you cannot have free dining with your stay if you stay between April 8 2019 to April 26 2019 and for the entire of December 2019.
However, what most people don't realise that these are check-in dates.
If we take April for example, you will get free dining as long as you check-in before April 8th. So if you have a 2 week holiday booked and your check-in date is April 7th you will get the dining plan for your entire stay up to April 21st. But, if you checked in on April 8th you won't get it at all.
So the answer is yes you can have free dining over Easter, as long as your holiday check-in is before April 8th.
The same goes for December. Although you can't have the free dining if you're staying over Christmas day (maximum holiday duration is 21 days), if you're looking to visit at the start of December, as long as your check-in day is before November 30th, you will get the free dining for your entire stay.
