Passenger On Disney Magic Cruise Airlifted To Hospital

The Liverpool Echo is reporting that a passenger onboard the Disney Magic was airlifted to hospital this morning. The 3-night Magic At Sea cruise from Liverpool on July 28th set sail and within hours a passenger urgently required medical treatment at hospital. They were airlifted to the hospital in Rhyl, North Wales.

A spokesperson said: "At 7.25am today (28 July), the coastguard helicopter from Caernarfon was sent to transfer a casualty onboard a cruise ship in the Irish Sea to a hospital in Rhyl."

This is a stark reminder that you must make sure you travel with travel insurance.
