Possible Changes To 2021 UK Disney World Tickets And Park Reservations Leaked
News 16-Jun-2020
Disney World ticket vendor Floridatix this morning released a statement about Disney World tickets changes in 2021, along with sending emails out to clients. However, shortly after, they retracted the statement and deleted all tweets and Facebook posts relating to it. Although we should treat this as just speculation at this time, it's unlikely that a major ticket vendor doesn't have at least some of the correct information and just jumped the gun announcing it, which has caused a bit of a panic.
Remember this is not yet official and just speculation based on today's posting.
Disney expects the park reservation system to continue into 2021
2021 Disney Ultimate Tickets will have to be paid by August 15th, 2020 to be valid for the whole year, else...
The Disney Ultimate Tickets won't be valid between September 27th and December 31st 2021 (which coincides with the 50th anniversary) if currently booked ticket balances are not paid by August 15th 2020, and new ticket sales after this date will not include park access after September 26th 2021

** 2021 TICKETS IMPACTED **
On May 28th, 2020 Walt Disney World announced the news that they were working towards a phased reopening of the theme parks beginning Jul 11th, 2020 pending state approval. When the theme parks reopen, they will manage attendance through a new theme park reservation system on DisneyWorld.com, that will require all Guests to make a reservation in advance for theme park entry.
It has since been communicated to us that this reservation system will also be in use for 2021, so this will impact you if you have either purchased a ticket in full, or have made a booking by making a deposit payment.
We don’t have the exact details of the reservation system or when it will become available just yet, we will communicate again once we have more information.
The below information applies to you whether you have just Walt Disney World tickets or whether you have combo tickets which include Walt Disney World.
How will this impact you?
I have fully paid for a 7-day or 14-day ticket for 2021, and I’m already in possession of my tickets:
Over the coming weeks, Walt Disney World will be making some necessary updates to prepare for the launch of this theme park reservation system. When it launches, you will need to ensure you have downloaded the My Disney Experience app, set up your account, and have linked your purchased theme park tickets to that account. Only then will you be able to access the reservation system for you to begin making reservations at the parks, on the dates of your choice.
I have fully paid for a 7-day or 14-day ticket for 2021, but as yet I haven’t received my tickets:
If you have made a recent purchase, our team are working incredibly hard to get these tickets to you as soon as possible. Please bear with us at this incredibly busy time.
If you purchased your tickets some time ago and you’ve yet to receive your tickets, please contact us on 0330 100 3130 between the hours of 10:00-14:00 so we can look this for you.

I have part-paid or paid a deposit for a 7-day or 14-day ticket for 2021, and I plan to use my Walt Disney World tickets between 1st Jan 2021 and 26th Sep 2021:
Your current balance payment terms are unchanged, however the introduction of the reservation system for 2021 could present you with park availability issues if you decide to leave it too long before making a full and final payment. Your tickets cannot be dispatched to you until final payment has been made. You cannot access the reservation system without tickets.
Guests with 2021 park tickets to hand will be making use of the reservation system for 2021 dates as soon as it is launched. We have no idea how quickly the availability will fill up, but our advice would be to act now so you are not left disappointed further down the line.
Once you’ve paid in full, we will dispatch your tickets so you can then link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account and begin to make your theme park reservations as required.
I have part-paid or paid a deposit for a 7-day or 14-day ticket for 2021, and I plan to use my Walt Disney World tickets between 27th Sep and 31st Dec 2021:
Walt Disney World have advised us that they are removing the 7-day and 14-day tickets from sale for this period. They are honouring those that have made a deposit booking, with a fundamental change to the terms.
Your current balance payment deadline on such tickets has been moved to 15th Aug 2020. However, the introduction of the reservation system for 2021 could present you with park availability issues if you decide to leave it to this date. Your tickets cannot be dispatched to you until final payment has been made. You cannot access the reservation system without tickets.
