Pricing Released For "Lightning Lane" Attractions, Debuts With Genie+ On October 19th
News - WDW 09-Oct-2021
This summer, Disney announced that paid Genie+ and Lightning Lanes will be replacing the Fastpass+ service. These new services will debut on October 19th, 2021.
Genie+ costs $15 per day, per guest. This gives the guest access to enter the "Lightning Lane" (previously Fastpass+ queue) on select attractions with a minimum wait. With Genie+, you can only book one attraction at a time, and can only book each attraction once in any given day. Standby queues and single rider queues will remain.
Some of the most popular attractions are not included with Genie+, and to use the "Lightning Lane" on these attractions will cost per ride under Disney's "Individual Attraction Selections" service. The pricing for some of these "Individual Attraction Selections" (per guest) at launch are listed below, but they're likely to change on a daily basis depending on season and demand. (You do not need to pay for Genie+ to be able to pay for these extra "Individual Attraction Selections".)
Rise of the Resistance in (Disney's Hollywood Studios) $15
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (Disney's Hollywood Studios) $not announced
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Magic Kingdom) $10-$12
