Shanghai Disneyland Reopening Tickets Sell Out In Minutes
Shanghai Disneyland tickets for opening day sold out in just minutes, as the local residents desire their Disney fix as soon as possible.
Disney announced that Shanghai Disneyland will be reopening on May 11th, the first Disney park to begin reopening due to coronavirus pandemic closures.
Bloomberg now reports that tickets for opening day on May 11th sold out "in minutes".
Shanghai Disneyland will be reopening with social distancing and other measures to prevent virus spread. Capacity for the park is 80,000 on a normal day, and the Chinese government has said Disney must reduce the limit of guests to 24,000. Depending on what number Disney decided to cap the capacity at, that means up to 24,000 tickets were sold for opening day.
