The Dining & Merch Credit Offer Will NOT Be Changing To The Disney Dining Plan

Disney has announced the return of the Disney dining plan for 2024. Guests who have already booked for 2024 can add the dining plan to their package starting May 31st, 2023. Guests who you have not yet booked a 2024 package will be able to add the dining plan online when booking starting May 31st, 2023.
Disney's current 2024 Early Booker package which offers up to $2,100 Disney dining & merchandise credit, up to a $400 gift card, and more, will not be changing.
We've been asked by readers who have already booked if they can "upgrade to" or "change to" the Disney dining plan. You will have the option, as stated previously, to add the dining plan to your package. Doing so does not remove the up to $2,100 Disney Dining Credit from your package. Also, the up to $2,100 Disney Dining Credit included in the 2024 Early Booker Package cannot be used to pay for a dining plan.
If you decide to pay and add the Disney Dining plan to your package, you are free to still use the up to $2,100 Disney Dining Credit on other dining options (outside of your Disney dining plan allowances) or on merchandise throughout Walt Disney World.
