Do you get desserts on the dining plan?

On the Disney World Dining Plan, you only get desserts on your table service credit meal. Quick service meals only include an entree and non-alcoholic beverage, while the table service meals include an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. Most desserts can be bought with your snack credits, and you get 2 of those a day.
