Can I Make My Park Reservations Paying Only The Deposit On Tickets?

The new Walt Disney World park reservation system is now live for 2020 and 2021. To book your park days, you need a valid Walt Disney World ticket for each member of your party.

If you book your tickets direct through Disney, you pay in full for your tickets right away, and that gives you direct access to make your park reservations.

If you book a hotel + ticket package through Disney, you pay a £50pp deposit and you will get your tickets right away, and that gives you direct access to make your park reservations.

Third party ticket vendors often offer a low deposit to secure your ticket. However, just paying the deposit does not give you access to the park reservation system. Only when you pay your ticket balance will you be sent the tickets to make your reservations.
