A delicious, good value for money lunch before heading back to the airport on our final day. While there are some pricey items on the Boathouse menu, there are actually some delicious value-for-money gems there as well. Here's our Boathouse review.
✅ A beautiful, clean and well-themed restaurant
✅ Food was very good, everything we had was delicious
✅ Service was fantastic
📢 While the atmosphere is very nice, it can get quite loud depending on what room you're in
🪑 We were sat at quite a bad table near a kitchen door so we were constantly getting staff buzzing past us
Our server introduced herself, filled our water, and took our drinks orders while we looked over the menu.
For drinks we had the duck duck razz cocktail, which was delicious, and the duck duck beer, which is an average lager, nothing special, but enjoyable. I'll take 2.
Then it was time for the bread service! This was probably in the top 3 bread services of the trip. The rolls were warm and soft and the butter is delicious. The rolls have this icing glaze on it, but it doesn’t go into the "tastes like cake" realm. I could sit and eat these all day.
For our main meal, we both ordered the filet sliders with a side of mac and cheese to share. These filet sliders are excellent value at just $16.50 each. Yes, they're quite small, but we were very full after this meal.
I swapped out fries for a jacket potato as I've generally gone off fries these last few years. The spud was huge and perfectly cooked.
We also ordered a side of mac and cheese, which is actually a smaller portion that was on the menu as recommended by our server, and it was delicious. Not as good as Homecomin' of course, but still a very delicious and cheesy portion of the good stuff.
We thought this meal was excellent value for money. The service, the food quality, the food taste, and four alcoholic drinks, for a bill of $75. Yes, you can go nuts and get experience steak and seafood - which are all good - but you're not missing out on having the smaller menu items.
Everything was fantastic. Our server was awesome and friendly. She kept on top of our water and also kept on top of our drinks and made money-saving recommendations which is refreshing from the usual upsells. Shout out to Victoria! We were sat at quite a bad table near a kitchen door which took away from the experience, and it can get quite loud in there depending on where you sit. The manager even came over and asked how things were going twice and every staff member we walked past or interacted with greeted us and was friendly, we've never seen anything like it! We highly recommend Boathouse at Disney Springs, and we'll be back!
