Disney has announced the Disney Dining Plan will be returning on January 9th, 2024. Starting May 31st, 2023, guests will be able to book a Walt Disney World package holiday and add the Disney Dining plan to their package. If you already have booked your 2024 Walt Disney World package holiday you will need to call Disney to add it to your package.
Disney's current 2024 promotion is their "Early Booker Package" which includes up to $2,100 Dining & Merchandise Credit and up to a $400 Disney Gift Card. This offer will NOT be changing to include a free Disney dining plan instead. You can book a 2024 package and add the Disney dining plan at the current cost, and you will still receive the dining & merchandise credit to spend as you like.
If You Have Already Booked The Dining Credit Offer
Keep in mind that guests cannot use the Dining & Merchandise Credit to pay for a dining plan. However, guests can still purchase a dining plan (beginning 31st May 2023) and use the Disney Dining Credit for other dining and snacks. Remember, the Dining & Merchandise Credit can be used at most Walt Disney World stores for shopping as well as dining. On Disney's official website there's a line that says "...and use your Disney Dining Credit to boost it!" which is worded weird and confusing people. This doesn't mean you can use your dining credit to boost the dining plan or vice versa, they're just getting across the point that you can book the dining plan and use your the dining credit from the offer to enjoy more dining outside of the dining plan allowances.
Disney has not yet confirmed the price of the Disney Dining plan for UK guests. As soon as we know, we will update this section. Disney has trimmed their Disney Dining plan offers to just two plans. The "Disney Quick Service Dining Plan" and the "Disney Dining Plan".
Disney Quick Service Dining Plan
All guests in the travel party (aged 3 and up) will receive 2 quick-service meal credits and 1 snack per night of their package stay. All guests will also receive 1 Resort-refillable drink mug for use over their entire stay.
