"My Plans" Has Disappeared From My Disney Experience - Here Is A Workaround
Guide 19-Oct-2021
Update: Disney has subsequently added a "Future Plans" button to address this.
Disney has released their Fastpass+ replacement - Genie+ and "Lightning Lanes" - which came as a brand new My Disney Experience app update which has changed some of the previously known functions of the app overnight. One of the most frustrating changes we've noticed is the disappearance of the "My Plans" page. You might recognise what page I'm referring to with the screenshot below.
Before, you could access your plans on the My Disney Experience app homepage, as well as the the menu page (which you get to by tapping the 3 lines on the bottom right of the app). However, since this update, it seems to be missing. There is a new "My Day", which only displays what's going on today, it does not bring up the day when you next have plans.
Until Disney adds this back in, there's only one clunky way I've managed to find to get back to it, and that's using search. If you tap the search icon at the bottom of the app, and then type in "my plans" it will come up as "View my plans - hotel, dining, and more". Tap on that and you will be presented once again with your plans page.
Alternatively, you can access the My Disney Experience website which thankfully still has the full list view for easy navigating and planning. Hopefully Disney add the functionality back into the app soon.
