We are getting so many emails and Facebook messages asking when Disney will release their free dining offer for 2019. Sadly, we don't know! So I have created this little article to link people to when we get the questions come in.
For as far back as I can remember, Disney release a free dining offer each Spring for stays in the following year. Is it the most popular offer in the UK for Disney World. In 2017, Disney released the free dining offer on April 5th for 2018 stays. That date has now passed and no (current) sign of the 2019 offer.
Some have speculated that Disney are filling the parks right now that they may not release a free dining offer to UK guests, or at least severely limit it. Let's hope that's not true! As they are indeed filling the parks at record rates, launching a good Disney dining deal for us Brits may not be needed. Especially with Star Wars land coming at the end of 2019 (which would fall in this offer's date range), they will not need to offer anything to fill the parks to capacity. We'll have to wait and see.
I don't have any insider knowledge (so I could be very wrong) but I am going to pull out my magic 8ball and predict an offer will be released on either April 19th or April 20th 2018 for 2019 stays. The reason for this is Disney don't tend to run too many promotions at once, and they have two offers expiring around this time of year when the free dining is released.
Whether we get the free dining, or something else entirely, we'll have to wait and see.
Disney will release the information at the last second - even to travel agents. But, the higher ups will be in the know because they'll have to have websites and images designed ready for it's release, so the chance of getting anything out of the customer support agents is low.
