Where Is The 2023 Free Disney Dining Offer For Disney World?
Banter 29-Mar-2022
Update May 2022: The quick answer is, right here! Disney has announced their 2023 free dining offer, see Disney's official Walt Disney World 2023 offers page right here to learn more. Original article below.
The Free Disney Dining promotion is usually the best deal that Disney offers for Walt Disney World (pre-pandemic), which prompts guests to book early. Disney has a policy of, the earlier you book, the best price (and offer) you'll get. That's been true for a while now.
The majority of Brits (those who talk about it, anyway) wanting to book their Walt Disney World holiday always love the dining offer Disney provides. The dining offer has been so engraved into the mindsets of the British public over the years, many Brits always wait to see what the dining offer includes before booking.
At the time of writing, the Disney Dining Plan has not yet returned. However, Disney did announce in the summer of 2021 that the Disney Dining Plan would be coming back, but they didn't announce a date. This is also backed up by all snacks at Walt Disney World still have the dining plan snack icon on all the menus, including newly added items.
After COVID happened and the parks were forced to close, the Disney Dining Plan (among many other things) were discontinued. For 2022 bookings, the 2022 Walt Disney World offer was changed slightly to a Free Dining Credit offer. Guests were given a gift card dollar amount to spend on food. Disney can't offer the free dining plan because the dining plan itself is currently discontinued, so a food-focused gift card was the alternative. The criticism of the dining credit was the credit was per room, and not per person.
For 2023 stays, it's unclear what a Disney Dining Offer - or any offer - will look like. COVID had made things much more unpredictable. Will there be an offer at all?
