Conclusion & Summary
No matter how you plan to visit Orlando, buying your tickets in advance is a must. If you buy your tickets through Disney, you'll be asked
to sign into your My Disney Experience account and your tickets
will then be automatically added to your My Disney Experience app. If you buy
through another provider, like Floridatix, you'll be given a ticket number which you enter into your My Disney Experience account.
Other things you should keep in mind:
- Ticket prices go up each year like clockwork, so it's best to buy them in advance as possible
- A ticket can only be used by one person, Disney and other theme parks use fingerprint scanners to authenticate you
- Children under 3 do not need a ticket
- All prices at the gate exclude Florida sales tax. This does not apply to the magic ticket, VAT is included.
