It starts getting exciting when it's time to start packing for Disney World. We list some of the things you'll need to bring with you here.
The Obvious Stuff
Most of the items come under the 'duh' category, but sometimes even the most obvious things can slip past you.
Clothes
Swimwear
Comfortable shoes
Travel plugs
Toiletries
Paperwork (and passports)
Phone/cameras
Sun cream/After sun
The Not So Obvious Stuff
Some of these may not apply to you, but useful to take if required.
Vaseline/lip balm
Painkillers
Blister plasters
Other Items
Other items you may need to take may be personal to you, for example medicines and medical equipment. I personally suffer from hay fever sometimes over there (yet I have never once suffered from it here at home) so I take hay fever tablets as they are much cheaper in the UK. You could take sunglasses, but I'm not a fan of tan lines on my face.
Buying Out There
We like to visit the local Target to get some items, for example bottled water and snacks. But they sell everything from toiletries to toys to clothes. You may wish to purchase some items, like shampoo, out there, and throw it at the end of the holiday, it's the best way to reduce weight of your suitcase.
All rooms have an iron, hairdryer, fridge, safe, and towels. Deluxe hotels have coffee making facilities. So you don't need to take any of that with you. (A safe or a fridge will most probably take you over your allocated suitcase weight limit if you wanted to take your own, so I'd avoid doing that.)
