What Is A Disney Magic Ticket?
A Disney Magic Ticket is the version of a Walt Disney World ticket sold to UK and Ireland residents. You buy it before you fly, either direct with Disney or through a UK ticket seller, and it covers all four theme parks with park hopping and both water parks. Memory Maker - Disney's PhotoPass download package - is thrown in as well. American visitors pay extra for each of those, which makes this one of the rare occasions where Disney pricing works in favour of the Brits.
Magic Tickets are date-based. You pick a start date when you buy, and that date decides which price season you pay. After that there are no park reservations to make, so you can choose which park to visit on the morning itself.
There are two lengths. The 7-day ticket can be used on any 7 days within a 15-day window, and the 14-day ticket on any 14 days within 18 days. If you only want a few days in the parks, you'll need a US ticket, either bought at the ticket windows when you arrive or online in advance from Disney World's US website. Shorter tickets aren't sold on the UK site, so to buy in advance you'll need a VPN set to the US, which makes the website think you're browsing from America. That 15-day window changes which ticket you need. A 7-day ticket can cover a two-week Florida holiday where Disney shares the time with Universal, the beach or a lazy day by the pool, because those 7 park days can be spread across 15 calendar days. The 14-day ticket is for anyone planning to spend most of a fortnight or more at Disney.
What Does A Disney Magic Ticket Include?
The 7-day and 14-day tickets include exactly the same things, and the only difference is the number of park days. Here's what's covered.
- Entry to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom, with park hopping so you can visit more than one park in a day
- Entry to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach water parks - whichever is open
- Memory Maker, which gives you unlimited downloads of your PhotoPass pictures, including ride photos and shots taken by Disney photographers around the parks
- One round of miniature golf at Disney's Winter Summerland or Disney's Fantasia Gardens
Memory Maker on its own costs $210 at Walt Disney World, and buying it on the day adds 6.5% sales tax, taking it to $223.65. At the exchange rate on 2nd October 2026, that's about £168.93 of photos already included in the price of your ticket.

A 2027 Disney Magic Ticket costs from £512.76 per adult for 7 days and from £535.56 per adult for 14 days when you book direct with Disney. Children aged 3 to 9 pay from £487.71 and £508.79. Under 3s don't need a ticket, and anyone aged 10 or over pays the adult price.

The seasons overlap at the edges. The most expensive regular season dates cost the same as the cheapest peak dates, at £647.57 per adult for 7 days and £675.80 for 14 days. Value season sits apart from the rest, and even its dearest 7-day ticket at £573.91 is £37.56 cheaper than the cheapest regular season start.
For a family of four with two children aged 3 to 9, a 7-day ticket costs from £2,000.94 in value season and up to £2,683.12 on the priciest peak dates. That's £682.18 between the cheapest and dearest start dates for the same 7 days in the parks.
Ticket prices have a habit of creeping up. When the headline price stays put, Disney tends to shuffle more dates into the pricier seasons instead, so the price you see for your dates isn't locked in until you buy. Stepping up from a 7-day to a 14-day ticket costs less than most people expect. Comparing the cheapest and dearest prices in each season, the extra 7 days add between £22.80 and £29.99 per adult, and between £21.08 and £28.67 per child. Per park day, the 14-day ticket costs roughly half as much. Whether that's a bargain depends on whether you'll use the extra days. If Disney is getting 7 of your 14 nights, the 7-day ticket does the job. If there's any chance you'll want an eighth park day, the step up to 14 days costs less than any extra ticket you could buy at the gate.

Disney Magic Ticket prices fall into three seasons, and the season is set by the date your ticket starts. For 2027, the whole of the UK summer holidays falls in value season, the cheapest of the three.

Value pricing in summer comes with a catch. Florida is hot and humid at that time of year, with regular afternoon thunderstorms, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs from 1st June to 30th November. Flights from the UK also tend to cost more during the school holidays, though lower ticket prices take some of the sting out of that. The biggest difference between UK and US Disney World tickets is what's in the base price. A Disney Magic Ticket includes park hopping and both water parks, plus Memory Maker, while a standard US ticket gets you into one theme park per day and charges extra for the rest. US tickets are also priced in dollars, with sales tax added on top.

There's no 7-day or 14-day ticket on that board, so the closest comparison is what four US days with similar extras would cost. A 4-day adult ticket at $531 plus Park Hopper Plus at $116 comes to $647, or $689.06 once 6.5% sales tax is added. At 1.3239 dollars to the pound on 2nd October 2026, that's £520.47 for 4 days. A value season 7-day Magic Ticket costs from £512.76, which gets you 3 more days for £7.71 less.
Add Memory Maker at $223.65 with tax, and the US total for one adult rises to $912.71, or about £689.41. That's more than the highest peak season price for a 7-day Magic Ticket, which is £688.09.
For a family of four with two children aged 3 to 9, four US days with Park Hopper Plus come to $2,717.88 with tax, or about £2,052.93, before you've bought a single photo. The same family pays from £2,000.94 for 7 value season days on Magic Tickets, with Memory Maker already included. Per park day, that's from £73.25 per adult on the Magic Ticket against £130.12 on the 4-day US ticket.
US tickets do come out ahead in one situation. If you only want one to three days at Disney, perhaps as part of a Florida road trip, a short US ticket bought from Disney World's US website costs less than a 7-day Magic Ticket you won't use. Disney Magic Ticket Rules Most People Miss
A few Magic Ticket rules make a noticeable difference to how you plan.
The 15-Day And 18-Day Windows
Your ticket days don't have to be used back to back. Disney's own ticket page spells it out.

Water Park Days Don't Always Count
If you visit a water park on a day when you don't go into any of the four theme parks, that visit doesn't use one of your ticket days. Spend the morning at Magic Kingdom and the afternoon at Typhoon Lagoon, and it counts as one ticket day. You Can't Add Days Or Upgrade To An Annual Pass
Once bought, a Magic Ticket can't be extended. The annual pass upgrade option used to show up in the My Disney Experience app for Magic Ticket holders, but it no longer does. If you need more days, you'll have to buy a separate ticket.
Age Bands
Disney counts anyone aged 10 or over as an adult for ticket prices. Children under 3 don't need a ticket at all.
How To Link Your Disney Magic Ticket And Get Into The Parks
Whether you buy direct with Disney or through a UK seller, getting your tickets into the app works the same way.
- Buy your tickets and look out for the confirmation email with your ticket code.
- Download the My Disney Experience app and sign in, or create a free Disney account if you don't have one.
- Go to Link Tickets and Passes and enter the code from your confirmation.
- Assign each ticket to the right person in your party, so everyone's ticket shows against their name.
- On the day, scan in at the park entrance. Guests staying at a Disney hotel can use their Key to the World card, while off-site guests enter digitally through the app.
Does A Disney World Hotel Booking Include Park Tickets?
No. Booking a Walt Disney World hotel on its own doesn't include park tickets, so you'll need to add Disney Magic Tickets separately or book a package that includes them.
Booking from the UK, you'll usually be prompted to add tickets as you go. Disney Holidays still offers a hotel-only option, which suits annual passholders or anyone splitting their stay between Disney and other Orlando parks. If you'd rather sort everything in one booking, you can build a Walt Disney World package with Disney Holidays and add your tickets at the same time.
Disneyland Paris works the other way round, which is why this catches people out. Book a hotel on disneylandparis.com and park tickets for every day of your stay are included as standard, with no room-only option. The only way to book a Disneyland Paris hotel without tickets is through Disney Holidays, where you have to choose a room-only booking specifically.
Where To Buy Disney Magic Tickets
You can buy Disney Magic Tickets direct with Disney or through UK sellers such as FloridaTix and Attraction Tickets. Whichever you choose, you'll get a code that links to the My Disney Experience app in the same way.
The main difference is how you pay. Buying direct means paying in full upfront, and the tickets are generally non-refundable. UK sellers often let you pay a deposit and settle the balance closer to travel, and you can usually add cancellation cover, which Disney doesn't offer.
No seller is cheapest every time. Disney changes prices by date and the sellers rotate their discount codes, so the cheapest option for your dates can change from one day to the next. The way to find it is to price your exact tickets and start date on all three sites on the day you're ready to book. Be wary of any website selling Magic Tickets far below the prices in this guide. Legitimate UK sellers work on slim margins, so their prices stay close to Disney's.
