The UK-Exclusive "Disney Magic Tickets" For Walt Disney World

The "Disney Magic Tickets" for Walt Disney World are exclusive to UK guests. They are the most cost-effective way of visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks. The Disney Magic Tickets gives you unlimited access to all four theme parks, two water parks and more. The Disney Magic Tickets must be purchased in the UK before heading to Walt Disney World.

There are two Disney Magic Tickets durations available. A 7-day and a 14-day Disney Magic Ticket. 21-day tickets and tickets for less than 7 days are not available from the UK
Disney Magic Tickets are date-based tickets (because upon purchase you choose a start date). This means park reservations are not required
There are two tiers of Disney Magic Tickets. One tier is for guests aged 3-9 and the other for guests aged 10+. No ticket is required for guests under 3 years of age

What Disney Magic Tickets Include

What are Disney Magic Tickets, and how do they differ from standard U.S. tickets? Disney Magic Tickets tend to include a lot of the extras that are priced separately with US tickets, like park hopping, photopass and golf.

Where To Buy Disney Magic Tickets

You can buy tickets directly through Disney or through genuine UK ticket vendors. It doesn't make a difference where you choose to buy them from as either way you'll get a code to add your tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Be wary of any websites that try to sell Disney Magic Tickets that look suspiciously cheap. Profit margins for UK ticket vendors are slim so be skeptical with non-reputable sites trying to sell cheap tickets. Disney Magic Tickets are generally non-refundable when buying direct through Disney and they have to be paid in full when you book. Through genuine UK ticket vendors there's usually an option to pay a deposit and also the ability to add cancellation cover.

Disney Magic Tickets Discount Codes

When booking directly through Disney there won't ever be any sort of discount code system available. With Disney, the price is the price! They do however sometimes run discount offers (which are available here) but they do not offer discount codes.

The UK ticket vendor websites do offer discounts and they often vary month to month. You'll be able to see the discount codes available on the Floridatix and the AttractionTickets website homepages. Make sure you price up the tickets you want on all three websites and choose whoever is cheapest. Check directly through Disney, Floridatix and AttractionTickets.

Why do UK ticket vendor websites offer discount codes and Disney don't? What tends to happen is that UK ticket vendors use some of their slim profit margin selling tickets and they sacrifice a part of that profit to give you an extra discount in return for them getting the sale.

No matter how you plan to visit Orlando, buying your tickets in advance is a must. If you buy your tickets through Disney, you'll be asked to sign into your My Disney Experience account and your tickets will then be automatically added to your My Disney Experience app. If you buy through another provider, like Floridatix, you'll be given a ticket number which you enter into your My Disney Experience account.

Are Disney Magic Tickets exclusive to UK residents? Yes, Disney Magic Tickets are only available to citizens of the UK and Ireland.
Can I purchase a 21-day Disney Magic Ticket? No, not anymore. Disney discontinued the 21-day Disney Magic Ticket in 2020 and does not appear interested in bringing it back.
Can I purchase a ticket for less than 7 days from the UK? No, you cannot. However, keep in mind that even the price of 7-day or 14-day Disney Magic Ticket will likely still work out cheaper than 2 or 3 day ticket prices.
Do I need to make park reservations with the Disney Magic Ticket? No, you do not. Park reservations are not required if you have a 7-day or 14-day Disney Magic Ticket. You can enter the parks whenever you want when your tickets are valid without the need for a park reservation.
Why do I need an adult ticket for my child? In Disney's eyes when a guest turns 10 years old they're a "Disney adult" and need the higher tier ticket.
Is park hopping included with the Disney Magic Ticket? Yes, you can park hop to any other parks while your Disney Magic Ticket is valid.
Are all my photos included with the Disney Magic Ticket? Yes, Memory Maker (Photopass) is included with Disney Magic Tickets, so all attraction photos and Photopass photographer photos are included.
How do I link my Disney Magic Tickets to the My Disney Experience app? Whether you book tickets directly through Disney or through a UK Ticket Vendor you will receive instructions on how to add them to your My Disney Experience app.
Can Disney Magic Tickets be upgraded to annual passes? Not at the moment. Although the option is available on the My Disney Experience app, the process is currently not enabled and guests cannot currently upgrade their Disney Magic Tickets to a Walt Disney World annual pass.
Is it possible to add extra days to a Magic Ticket after purchase? No, you cannot add more days to your Disney Magic Ticket. You must either purchase another Disney Magic Ticket or buy extra day tickets when you're at Walt Disney World.
