The UK government announced (via Sky) today that that the pre-departure test when returning to England has now been scrapped. In addition to this announcement, Prime Minister Boris Johnson also announced that the requirement to self-isolate until you get your day 2 results has also been scrapped, and you no longer need to take a day 2 PCR, it can now be an LFT once again starting 4am January 7th, 2022.
