The UK Government has announced an increase in Air Passenger Duty paid by passengers on all flights starting April 1st, 2025. Whether you're looking to book Walt Disney World or book Disneyland Paris and want to travel by air, there will be an increase in Air Passenger Duty.

Short Haul Flights (Example: London To Paris)
Economy Air Duty will remain the same unless not in the lower class of cabin, otherwise a £2 increase to £28 per traveller, up from £26.

Long Haul Flights (Example: London To Orlando)
The Air Passenger Duty for long-haul economy cabins (in the lowest class of seats) will increase from £88 to £90. The Air Passenger Duty of higher class cabins (premium, business etc) will increase from £194 to £216.

The UK treasury expects these increases to give an extra £100million to the Exchequer each year.
