Disney Cruise Line appears to be altering their onboard wifi service from screenshots we've been sent from those onboard currently sailing around Europe on the Disney Magic. Previously, wifi onboard was super experience and based on data usage. It now appears Disney are rolling out new day rates for wifi. There's three categories to choose from.
"Stay connected" $10/day
This tier is for social media use only. It does not include web browsing, email, or video streaming. It does include use of social media apps including posting text and images to Facebook, Instagram, etc.
"Basic Surf" $20/day
Everything the "stay connected" tier offers, and you can browse the web and check your emails.
"Premium Surf" $30/day
Everything the "stay connected" and "basic surf" tiers include, as well as the ability to stream video from services like Netflix, stream music from services like Apple Music, make video calls with services like Zoom, and also be able to use Youtube, TikTok, and Snapchat.
You can choose to pay for wifi for one day, or pay for every day of your voyage in advance.
