For those who have been to Disney World and stayed at a Disney resort in the last year or two, you probably noticed the hassle it is to get to a water park (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach) from the Disney resorts. Once upon a time Disney offered direct buses to the water parks, but that changed, and guests had to travel to Disney Springs or Animal Kingdom and catch another connecting bus.
Thankfully, starting on March 17, that's going to change again. Disney will be offering direct buses to the water parks from the Disney resorts. The only slight caveat is that each bus trip will cover multiple resorts, as we've outlined below.
Animal Kingdom Resort (both Jambo House and Kidani Village)
All Star Sports Resort, All-Star Music Resort, All-Star Movies
Contemporary Resort, Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Fort Wilderness Campground, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort
Pop Century Resort, Art of Animation Resort
Swan and Dolphin Resorts, Yacht Club, Beach Club, BoardWalk Resort
Also, the resorts listed below will have specific bus stops for the water parks.
Caribbean Beach Resort (Old Port Royale Stop)
Coronado Springs Resort (El Centro/Stop #1)
Old Key West Resort (Hospitality House Stop)
Port Orleans Resort (South Bus Depot)
Saratoga Springs Resort (The Springs Bus Stop)
