Florida Sees COVID-19 Case Spike With 100,000 Total Cases
The state of Florida has hit 100,000 total cases, with new cases still increasing each day by the thousands, governor says it is due to more testing.
The BBC is today reporting that the state of Florida has now reported over 100,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases. As you can see from the graph above, Florida has seen quite a spike of new cases during the last week, seeing thousands of a new cases every day. Bars and restaurants had been reopening and photos shared on social media shows very little social distancing going on, however, the Florida governor Ron DeSantis says many of the new infections in the state are down to increased testing and involve people in their 20s and 30s.
