One of the things I do love about Disney is the fact that every guest has access to 3 Fastpass attractions per day (whether you love or hate the new way Fastpass works). I've always despised other theme parks, especially those here in the UK, who charge a lot extra to 'skip the line'. But, now it seems Disney, in their ever focused goal to increase revenue across the parks, is allowing some people to purchase extra Fastpass selections.
As far as I can tell, everyone still gets their 3 Fastpass selections -- that's not changing.
However, the rumour is that if you're staying in one of the deluxe resorts for 3 or more nights, you have the option to pay $50 per person per day for 3 additional Fastpass selections. And what else, is these purchasable Fastpass selections ignores the tiers so you could Fastpass both Soarin' and Test Track (for example).
Disney have yet to officially comment to any news outlet, but I sure hope they do.
I personally wouldn't pay this. Firstly, I wouldn't want to encourage it, and secondly I don't even think it's worth it. Either way I'm not a fan of the direction this might go in.
