A few years ago, TUI were applauded (especially by us folk down here in Devon) for offering a route to Orlando from Bristol airport. Post COVID lockdowns, TUI changed the destination airport from Orlando Sanford (29 miles from WDW) to Melbourne (80 miles from WDW) to mixed responses. Now it seems, TUI might be scrapping that route entirely.
If you search for a Bristol to Walt Disney World holiday on TUI the dates only go until April 2023. However, if you select any of those dates from November 2022 onwards, you get:
All gone!
Sorry, the holiday you're looking for must be really popular - it's sold out. Try changing your search...
If you choose Birmingham or London instead of Bristol, holidays and flights appear as normal that you can select and book. Even when you choose Birmingham or London in your search, a lot more dates show up (if you use Birmingham you won't get any third party flights, only TUI ones).
We cannot confirm if this is a technical issue (unlikely, see below) or if the flights have just been temporarily pulled, but we've reached out to TUI and Bristol airport for a comment and will update you if we receive anything.
Update October 18th: Bristol airport have now pulled 2023 Bristol to Orlando flights from their website, which rules out technical issues on the TUI website.
