As of July 18, 2022, CDC's COVID-19 Program for Cruise Ships is no longer in effect. CDC will continue to publish guidance to help cruise ships continue to provide a safer and healthier environment for passengers, crew and communities going forwardCDC has and will continue to provide guidance to the cruise industry, but ultimately it seems now that it's up to individual companies what COVID-19 restrictions (including, but not limited to, testing and vaccination rules) they want to set. Although keep in mind the requirement to be fully vaccinated to enter the US to board a cruise is still ongoing.
At the moment, all guests aged 5+ must be fully vaccinated (with at least two jabs) and a pre-boarding test (arranged and paid for by the guest) is required. Disney Cruise Line has not yet announced any changes to their requirements, but with the CDC relaxing their rules, we should hear an announcement soon if Disney intend to removed any of these requirements to cruise with them, but keep in mind they might not change anything.
