Epcot Future World Is Dead, Long Live Future World

Disney has laid out their plans for Epcot. Future World will be no more, and in its place will be 3 new neighbourhood sections. Epcot will consist of 4 total neighbourhoods.

"World Showcase" which is adding new films at China, Canada, and France pavilions. A new quick service and table service restaurant at France (La CrÃªperie de Paris), a new Ratatouille attraction at France opening summer 2020, and a Mary Poppins attraction with a new Cherry Tree lane neighbourhood section to the UK pavilion.

"World Celebration" which will include Spaceship Earth, and the center "spine" of Epcot.

"World Nature" which includes the Seas with Nemo & Friends, Soarin', and Journey of Water, Inspired by "Moana".

"World Discovery". which includes the Guardians Of The Galaxy attraction (named Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opening 2021), Play Pavillion (opening 2021), Mission Space, the new Space 220 restaurant (opening winter 2019), and Test Track.

All upcoming attractions are due to be completed the 50th anniversary in fall 2021.
