This is our honest Garden Grill dinner review. A character dining experience located at EPCOT.

Garden Grill is an all-you-care-to-enjoy character family-style meal located in the Land at EPCOT that costs $62 for adults and $42 for kids at the time of writing. The whole restaurant very slowly rotates to give you ever-changing views of Living with the Land. We have experienced Garden Grill dinner regularly over the years, and while it was one of our top restaurants, there have been changes that have resulted in it being removed from our go-to list. If you're looking for our view on breakfast, see our article Garden Grill Breakfast Review At EPCOT. Garden Grill dinner and lunch offer the same menu and experience.

✅ All characters are awesome and so much fun as always
✅ Excellent fresh veggies from downstairs in Living with the Land
👍 The food options are generally very good, although a couple of item changes leave us disappointed
👍 Overall we still recommend Garden Grill dinner although it's no longer a must-do for us

Garden Grill Dinner Review

When you've checked in and taken to your table, your table will be set up with the plates laid out in a Mickey shape!

Garden Grill Plates

This is a really nice touch. I love it. The bottom section of the restaurant is comfy booths and the top half is table and chairs. You can't go wrong with either though.

Garden Grill Cornbread

Let's start with the bread service. Previously, you were given some bread rolls and butter, and you would get some cornbread in with the main platter. Now that cornbread is served separately and first as the bread service. I know a lot of Americans don't get excited over cornbread, but as a Brit, we don't get this stuff at home, so it's a much better option than regular bread rolls in my opinion.

Garden Grill Salad

Up next is the salad course. The salad changes frequently, as you'd expect. It's always fresh and delicious. Many of these vegetables are grown downstairs in the Living with the Land greenhouses, which is amazing.

Garden Grill Skillet

After bread and salad, it's time for the main event! You're presented with a skillet that contains Grilled Beef steak with Chimichurri, Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni & Cheese, and Seasonal Vegetables. The beef is very good, and they actually serve this beef with Garden Grill Breakfast as well. The mash and Mac & Cheese are Disney staples and always very good. The seasonal vegetables - just like the salad - are fresh and delicious.

The skillet used to contain Barbecue-roasted Chicken but now sliced turkey is offered. Unfortunately, this is a step down. The Barbecue-roasted Chicken was absolutely delicious and the turkey that is served tastes like packet supermarket turkey - not a fan.

Garden Grill Mac & Cheese

All the food apart from the turkey was delicious and freshly cooked. The mac & cheese isn't top-tier Disney mac & cheese you find at other Disney locations, but it's still good. All the food worked so very together, and as someone who loves meat & spuds, this is a very satisfying and delicious meal.

Garden Grill Dessert

At these Disney all-you-care-to-eat restaurants, there's usually not much room for dessert, but you should always try to leave a little bit of room to try what's on offer. Garden Grill used to serve this amazing berry cake that tasted like those frozen Arctic rolls. But sadly, they replaced it with a rather boring "seasonal pie", which was an apple crumble on our last visit. While I am a lover of apple crumble, you can get this sort of dessert everywhere, and this one wasn't particularly good either.

The 4 characters you'll meet here are Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale. As expected, they were all incredible and so much fun each visit. What's amusing is that sometimes Dale is the super cheeky one and other times Chip is the super cheeky one. We enjoy seeing which we'll get each visit!

Garden Grill dinner was one of our top 3 restaurants at Walt Disney World. Unfortunately, due to recent menu downgrades, we no longer visit Garden Grill dinner at all. Now, it is the only character dining location where you get to meet Chip & Dale, and they're a lot of fun. Even though we don't have too many heavy breakfasts, we still highly rate Garden Grill Breakfast and visit each trip as breakfast is still fantastic. At both breakfast and dinner, the characters are always excellent, and the service is consistently good. The food is by no means bad, but it used to be better. With the menu changes, we struggle to justify the high $62 cost, as much as we have adored it in the past. We generally still recommend Garden Grill dinner though if you want an excellent character meal at EPCOT and the food presented in this review works for you. See our Garden Grill Breakfast Review for our thoughts on the amazing breakfast.
