Looking for Walt Disney World tickets and can't choose between Attraction Tickets or FloridaTix? You've come to the right place! This is our Attraction Tickets Vs FloridaTix comparison guide. We compare AttractionTickets.com and FloridaTix for Walt Disney World tickets - covering price, deposits, flexibility, cancellation policies, and more to help UK guests decide which is the best option for them.

When it comes to buying Walt Disney World tickets (or Disney Magic Tickets as they're officially known) from the UK, you have a few choices. We Brits have access to the incredible 7 and 14-day Disney Magic Tickets which give us unlimited access to all four theme parks, two water parks, park hopping, Memory Maker and more - all of which we outline in our Walt Disney World UK Ticket Guide article. While a lot of Brits book their tickets when they book their Walt Disney World hotel package direct with Disney or through a travel agent like Virgin Atlantic Holidays or TUI, other Brits - primarily those who stay off-site - buy their Walt Disney World tickets separately. If you already know about tickets and you're looking to buy, this guide will help you choose between the two biggest UK-based sellers.

Excluding buying your Walt Disney World tickets direct with Disney, there are two major players who sell Walt Disney World tickets in the UK: Attraction Tickets (also known as AttractionTickets.com) and FloridaTix. Both are genuine, trusted UK sellers of Walt Disney World tickets, and we have used both several times over the years.

Attraction Tickets Vs FloridaTix - What They Have In Common

Before diving into the differences, it's worth noting that Attraction Tickets and FloridaTix have a lot of similarities, as they're both largely selling the same product. They both sell genuine Walt Disney World tickets which cannot be bought at the gate. Both offer a paid extra add-on to cover changes and cancellation. Both offer buy now and pay later options. Although keep in mind that full payment is required in order to generate the tickets so they can be added to your My Disney Experience app. They do not offer physical tickets any longer (neither do Disney either).

Attraction Tickets Vs FloridaTix - Deposits and Payment Terms

This is one of the biggest differences between the two. FloridaTix requires a £20 deposit per ticket and Attraction Tickets requires a £50 deposit per booking - no matter how many tickets you're buying. If you're buying many tickets in one transaction, Attraction Tickets is the best option if you want to keep your upfront cost low.

FloridaTix requires full payment 13 weeks (91 days) before your departure date, whereas Attraction Tickets allows you to make your full payment up to just 6 weeks before departure. That extra seven weeks of breathing room can make a real difference to your budgeting, especially if you're saving up for a big trip.

Attraction Tickets Vs FloridaTix - Amendments

If your plans change - which is rare but can happen - the flexibility of your tickets can matter a lot. Attraction Tickets offers two free date amendments with every ticket, with any further changes costing £10 per change. FloridaTix, on the other hand, does not offer any free date amendments and charges £10 for each change from the outset. This is a clear win for Attraction Tickets if you think there's any chance your travel dates might shift.

Attraction Tickets Vs FloridaTix - Protection Add-Ons

Both companies offer an optional protection add-on for extra peace of mind, but they work quite differently.

The FloridaTix "Peace Of Mind" protection costs £50 per booking (covering all tickets in that booking) and includes free amendments, cancel-at-any-time protection, and access to an emergency phone number. Attraction Tickets "Flex Plus" costs £25 per ticket and also offers unlimited date and time changes, cancel-at-any-time protection, and emergency phone number access.

Which one works out cheaper depends on how many tickets you're booking. For a solo traveller or a couple, Attraction Tickets' per-ticket pricing may work out more affordable. For a larger family of four or more, FloridaTix's flat-rate-per-booking pricing could save you money. Both protection add-ons must be added at the time of booking and cannot be added later.

Attraction Tickets Vs FloridaTix - Cancellations

Without the protection add-ons, the cancellation policies differ quite a bit. With FloridaTix, if you cancel your booking you will forfeit your deposit if you cancel more than 83 days out, lose 20% of the total ticket cost if you cancel between 8 and 83 days out, and receive no refund at all (100% of the ticket cost lost) if you cancel less than 7 days before departure. With Attraction Tickets, if you cancel you will lose your deposit or £50 per person, whichever amount is lower. Attraction Tickets' cancellation terms are simpler and arguably more favourable, particularly if you need to cancel at shorter notice.

Attraction Tickets Vs FloridaTix - Price Matching

Both companies offer a price match service, but with some important differences in how they work. FloridaTix operates a Price Match Promise where they will match their competitors' prices. Price match requests must be made by the customer at the time of booking. You can't come back later and ask for a match. Attraction Tickets only price matches against ABTA or ABTOT competitors (which FloridaTix is not, as they don't sell hotel packages). However, the advantage is that price match requests can be submitted up to 7 days after purchase, giving you more time to shop around after booking. Bottom line, it's best to buy from a seller at a price and service you're happy with rather than hoping for a price match after your purchase.

Attraction Tickets Vs FloridaTix - Ticket Delivery

Once you've made your full payment, Attraction Tickets will issue your tickets immediately, ready for you to add to the My Disney Experience app straight away. FloridaTix can take up to 72 hours after full payment to issue your tickets. This is unlikely to be a problem if you've paid well in advance, but if you're cutting it fine close to your departure date, it's worth keeping in mind.

Attraction Tickets Vs FloridaTix - Reviews

Attraction Tickets uses Trustpilot for their customer reviews and they score 4.8 from 30,000 reviews. FloridaTix use Reviews.io and currently score 4.8 out of 6,000 reviews.

Should You Just Book Direct With Disney?

The option to book your Walt Disney World tickets direct with Disney is definitely an option. They don't offer any bells and whistles and offer a simple "the price is the price" offering. The only downside that readers tell us about with booking direct with Disney is you have to pay the full price of the tickets up front, they don't offer any sort of buy now pay later system. You should check the prices as well though, as sometimes tickets might be cheaper straight from the mouse.

Attraction Tickets & FloridaTix - Our Experiences

We have used both Attraction Tickets and FloridaTix for our Walt Disney World ticket needs. When you book with Floridatix, the email you receive is more playful and fuels your excitement, as you can see below.

Floridatix email confirmation

The Attraction Tickets confirmation email is more professional and concise, as you can see below.

Of course, the design of their confirmation won't be determinative to your decision on who to use (as you'll be getting your tickets either way). We use both interchangeably depending on price and availability. The majority of the time we book a hotel & ticket package direct through Disney, and we tend to use FloridaTix or Attraction Tickets when booking extras like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Disney After Hours. Attraction Tickets we use more for Universal hotel and tickets though as FloridaTix doesn't sell hotel stays. Each of the times we have used either company we've got what we ordered and had no issues.

Our Verdict: Which Should You Choose?

Both Attraction Tickets and FloridaTix are legitimate, trusted sellers of Walt Disney World tickets for UK guests, and we've personally used both over the years without any issues. That said, they do suit different situations. If the most important thing to you is price, then you can simply go with whoever works out cheapest for the dates you want to visit Walt Disney World. Keep in mind that every UK seller will have slightly different prices for different times of the year so it's best you check them all. Check direct with Disney, Attraction Tickets and FloridaTix on the dates you want to visit and compare the prices. If ticket prices are not a priority or the prices are on par, then:
  • Winner for price: DRAW - both offer similar pricing and discounts depending on travel date
  • Winner for customer support: DRAW - both offer online chat (with humans and not currently AI chat bots), email and phone support
  • Winner for cancellation cover: Floridatix if buying 3 or more tickets in one transaction, or Attraction Tickets if buying 2 or less tickets
  • Winner for free extras: Attraction Tickets - although the value of the freebies is up for debate
  • Winner overall: DRAW - there is not a clear winner, so:
Choose Attraction Tickets if:
You need longer to pay off your tickets (pay up to 6 weeks before departure vs FloridaTix that require payment 13 weeks before departure) or you want to buy protection cover and buying 1 or 2 tickets (as it's £25 per ticket rather than £50 per booking with FloridaTix)

Choose FloridaTix if:
You're looking to pay the lowest possible deposit to secure today's prices (£20 per ticket vs £50 with Attraction Tickets) or you want to buy protection cover and buying 3+ tickets (as it's £50 per booking rather than £25 per ticket with Attraction Tickets)

Whichever you choose, both companies sell the exact same genuine Disney Magic Tickets - so you'll have the same magical experience in the parks regardless.
