In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger, he shared with us his plans to expand the EPCOT festival offerings. In 2024, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will have its longest run to date! We had to ask, could the festivals be extended even more?

The New Festival

"We're always looking at ways to extend our festivals further so more guests can enjoy them," CEO Bob Iger said. "Today I am announcing the EPCOT International Grub 'N' Hooch Festival! This new festival will run for... you ready? An amazing 365 days a year". Josh D'amaro - Chairman of Disney Experiences - leapt across the table and patted CEO Bob Iger on the back for a job well done. CEO Bob Iger looks at Josh and nods in celebration of accomplishing his goal of finally launching a year-long festival. "We think guests are going to love it, " Josh D'amaro said. "The guest experience will only improve." CEO Bob Iger replied.

The Future Of Grub 'N' Hooch

And if that wasn't enough, there's more! In the future, Disney is looking to expand the EPCOT International Grub 'N' Hooch Festival beyond the 365 days a year. "That is impossiblé" Josh D'amaro blurted out in a French accent. "We no longer believe in the concept of calendars," CEO Bob Iger says. "Now we've finally ditched the park reservation system for most guests, I don't even look at calendars anymore," he continued. "If there's a day that hasn't been discovered yet, I promise that as soon as it does, there will already be an EPCOT festival day scheduled for it."

Josh D'amaro sniggered, "that reminds me of a Chuck Norris joke. Do you enjoy Chuck Norris jokes, Bob?" CEO Bob Iger laughed and said "I do, Josh. Which one did that remind you of?" Josh D'amaro attempts to gain his composure and says "When Alexander Bell invented the telephone, he had a missed call from Chuck Norris". CEO Bob Iger snorts "Haha, that's fantastic Josh, I see how my statement reminded you of that joke. That's excellent work, great job. Is there anything else we can cut from the Disneyland Paris annual passes?"

The Long Lines

"We also understand that festival booth lines can be quite long during busy times, "Josh D'amaro said, "That's right, Josh," CEO Bob Iger continued, "We are exploring ways to improve the guest experience in this area by offering..." CEO Bob Iger said with delight "... Individual Lightning Lane options for select booths!" he cheered. "Guest experience will be off the charts! I can see those online surveys being submitted with perfect scores across the board already!"

CEO Bob Iger and Chairman of Disney Experiences Josh D'amaro both suddenly jump out of their seats and start to dance towards the door. "And Mickey's Not-So-Scary is going to start in February!" CEO Bob Iger yelled before the door closed.

Final Words

We look forward to what the EPCOT International Grub 'N' Hooch Festival will bring guests in 2025 as well as being able to celebrate Halloween in early February - stay tuned to Mickey From The UK.
