[WDW] The company that owns Cirque du Soleil is filing for creditor protection due to the devastating effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
Cirque du Soleil La Nouba was a long running Cirque du Soleil show at Disney springs which closed at the end of 2017. At the end 2019, the company announced a brand new show will take its place called Drawn To Life.
Cirque du Soleil shut down all 44 of its shows in March, laying off 95% of its workforce due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the company has filed for creditor protection to protect the company from its' debts while the pandemic is forcing their shows to stop.
