For the Brits who enjoy visiting Disneyland Paris, the EU is planning to introduce ETIAS - the EU Version of an ESTA - which was originally slated to be launched in 2023, and as you might have guessed, it got delayed. At the end of 2023, it was speculated that the new system would be pushed into 2025, which has now been confirmed.

An ETIAS will be required when entering the Schengen area - which includes 27 EU member states. The waiver will cost €7 per person and last for three years or until your passport expires. While no firm date has been given, the estimated time this will go live is around May 2025.
