Passengers flying from London Heathrow Airport will no longer need to remove liquids or electronics from their hand luggage. Previously, larger electronics like laptops had to be put in a separate bin to go through security; this is no longer needed. More significantly, travellers no longer need to worry too much about liquids in their hand luggage because the 100ml limit has been scrapped.

This is thanks to London Heathrow rolling out new next-generation CT security scanners which are now in place across all terminals.

This will be boon for all flight routes but especially those travelling to Florida with Virgin Atlantic, or for this summer, British Airways from London Heathrow. Keep in mind that when returning the 100ml limit still applies when leaving from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
