Following that news, some UK airlines announced that face coverings are no longer enforced on flights from the UK to the USA. However, they stressed that you might still have to wear one when boarding or disembarking the plane based on your destination.

Thankfully, Orlando International Airport just tweeted that the TSA will no longer enforce face coverings throughout the airport. This means that face coverings are optional all the way from leaving the UK airport, during the flight, and when you land in Orlando.
Face Mask Update: TSA will no longer enforce Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs. Face masks are now optional in our airport and facilities.
