The United States has scrapped its mask mandate on public transportation (including flights) after a federal judge ruled the directive was unlawful. However, it wasn't clear if this applied to international flights as well as domestic flights. There has been some conflicting reports overnight, but this afternoon, some UK airlines - like Virgin Atlantic and British Airways - have said that "with immediate effect masks will be a personal choice". If Virgin are able to make this policy change, it's likely the other UK to USA airlines will follow soon.
The pre-departure observed LFT testing requirement remains in place. Click here to read our Disney holiday testing guide.
Customers and colleagues aren't required to wear a mask on board our US flights from today. It will now be a personal choice so we ask everyone to respect each other's preferences. JulieR
